The '''Uganda Investment Authority''' (UIA) is a semi-autonomous government agency mandated to promote and facilitate both foreign and domestic investment in Uganda. Established by an Act of Parliament in 1991, the UIA operates under the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.

UIA's core mission is to:
* Promote Uganda as a prime investment destination.
* Facilitate the registration and licensing of investments.
* Provide industrial and business infrastructure such as serviced industrial parks.

UIA acts as a one-stop center for investors seeking support, information, and facilitation services related to starting and operating businesses in Uganda.
